The FreeRanger 200HF TIG Power Centre provides a totally portable solution for DC TIG & MMA welding and on site Auxiliary Power applications.

Engine or Mains Powered The unique digital welding inverter incorporates all the features required for HF TIG and MMA welding with 6KW of auxiliary power available for ancillary tools.

FreeRanger 200HF TIG provides the ultimate choice for totally portable DC TIG & MMA welding. Software driven, the inverter unit provides for programmable control of the welding output parameters. The user-friendly controls allow for the selection of HF or Lift Arc Start, 2T or 4T Torch Switching, Panel or Remote Current Control as well as allowing full adjustment of Slope Out Time and Post Gas Time. Pre Gas Time & the Hot Start arc function are pre-set in the software programme.

MMA welding with all Types of Electrodes including cellulosic up to 4.0mm in diameter is made easy with the MSD auto sensing arc force control that also provides automatic hot-start electrode ignition. The MSD also provides for automatic volt drop and short circuit detection ensuring that electrode stick down is virtually eliminated.

Safety First To comply with international safety standards the unit is fitted with an automatic Dead Man sensor ensuring that if the TIG welding arc is accidentally broken, or if the TIG arc fails to establish after 3 seconds the inverter will automatically shut down.
