Description Retractable Hose Reelers are Lightweight and portable units that are mountable in a variety of positions, eliminating once and for all, the problems of tangled hoses. Hoses are safely stored within the unit. Features All Strata Retractable Hose Reelers are made from rust resistant materials and are virtually maintenance free. The units provide a long service life in all types of environments. The reeler's outer casing and drum components are molded in stabilised copolymer polypropylene with a screw fastened drum section and riveted outer casing. The drum drive spring is totally enclosed in the drum assembly and lubricated for the life of the reeler by a light grade, water resistant grease. The reeler rotation is controlled by a low inertia activated ratchet and pawl system set to positively latch in a static position or to maintain recoiling down to a walking pace for maxi-mum operator convenience. The plastic swivel unit of the air and water reelers is sealed by a series of 'O' rings and is designed to take pressures of 1,722 kPa (175 Psi.). The swivel unit of the oxy/-acetylene reeler is of solid brass construction and is designed to function as a single demountable unit. It is sealed by a series of 'O' rings which provides for the separation of the gases. The base frame is designed to be removable and can be placed in any one of four positions. This is achieved by placing the base frame in the lugs provided on the outer casing. This allows for the units to be mounted on bench tops, walls and in service vans, etc. Strata Retractable Hose Reelers come complete with hose and fittings.
